Keeping It Smooth With Hair Removal Treatment Georgia

By Frank Clark

Ladies who reside in the Atlanta area like to stay bikini-ready. They have a multitude of lakes to choose from, not to mention the 100 miles of coast on the Atlantic Ocean, close enough for a long weekend retreat. In order to keep themselves ready for the beach, many of these women will spend time getting hair removal treatment Georgia.

Some women are afraid of the pain involved with waxing, and rightly so. The first couple of times one goes for such a procedure, it is said to be quite painful, and sometimes messy. However, once the follicles are loosened, the waxing becomes much easier to tolerate, and creates a smoothness in the bikini area that is difficult to achieve any other way.

The downside to waxing, other than the pain, is that the woman must go for a period of one-to-two weeks without shaving before it will be effective. This only guarantees smoothness for about six weeks, before she will have to go hairy for another period of time, and so on. She is looking at a cost of around $80 a month in order to maintain her appearance.

Some waxing salons also offer rented time under a tanning bed in order to make the look more finished. There are certainly risks with this form of tanning, just as laying in the sun carries skin cancer risks. However, women who are very light skinned often avoid dangerous burns by spending time under these lights, getting what is called a base tan.

When getting rid of unsightly hairs on the face, many women utilize tweezers in order to achieve a smooth finish. This is laborious and sometimes painful for longer periods of time than waxing. There are a number of options available to women that are less painful than tweezing, but not every cream or all-natural recipe works for everyone.

While it would seem preferable for women to undergo a painless process, some women actually prefer plucking or waxing their faces. As the popularity of dermabrasion techniques, women have learned that slight damage to the skin actually tricks the body into releasing collagen to the effected area. This collagen helps to firm and plump the flesh, destroying the tiny lines and creases that appear as we age.

Women with a little more money to spend have electrolysis sessions as a possibility. This is an option which removes hair permanently, leaving behind a smoothness that cannot be achieved any other way. However, electrolysis sessions require many weeks of isolated sessions, and can run into the thousands of dollars, which is more than most people are able to afford.

The majority of girls and women stick with the good-ole razor. It is important that they have a quality razor, and use only the sharpest of blades, in order to avoid the small cuts that come with use of a dull tool, or basic carelessness on the part of the woman. Shaving always goes much better when she is sitting in a tub of hot water, and many women enjoy the time spent taking care of themselves.
